Regus - Bromley Town Centre

We have an office with over 15 people and we are very happy with the service we have received. There have been a few issues over the past 2 years but every time they arise, the management team has been keen to address and resolve them. The new building manager, Miran, has been very professional and everyone has commented on how he has made a difference. He has a lovely and helpful number two, Danielle, who has always been very helpful and professional too. These are people that make us all happy tenants as you know that when inevitable issues occur, they will be sorted out quickly.

Not fit for purpose!! After I signed into a three year contract I realised very early into the first few months what a big mistake this was. Upon moving into the office I was upset to see that no effort had been made to touch up the space after the previous tenants had left. The skirting board was damaged and had chucks ripped out of it and the carpet had stains. I'm sure the previous occupiers were charged the 'restoration fee' which unfortunately Regus had failed to bother repairing and making good for ourselves as the new occupiers. I did mention these points to the Community Manager on day 1 at the time and took photos which he said he had noted. Three years on, that person is no longer at Regus anymore so let's see if any 'note' of the damage I reported then was actually recorded and I'm sure they will be more than keen to charge me the restoration fee for this and leave this yet again for the next person. Maintenance and upkeep of the building and fabric is shambolic. Over time there has been less and less care. 1 of only 2 lifts has been out of order for the best part of a year and they do not seem bothered in getting this repaired properly. The lawn and plantings outside have never been tendered to or looked after. They are just left to overgrow making the appearance of the building look untidy and unkept. I have only ever seen the lawn mowed twice. I also cycle in and though by the bike shed there are light bollards, I had only seen them working one day. I have mentioned to staff if they could be switched on in the evenings as not only does it make it difficult to see to unlock my bike when it's dark but it also helps for security. This request was never listened to and for some time now the bollards have been knocked over to the ground, I assume by vandals and the cables connected to it have been left exposed. There has been no urgency from Regus to repair this even though this is a health hazard. The overall the state and poor upkeep of the building and its appearance makes it hugely embarrassing to invite clients to visit which I no longer do and the charges in our rent is, after all, supposed to cover the maintenance which I unfortunately fail to see any of. The general cleaning is very poor and areas left dirty and quite disgusting. Dirty plates and dishes left out and over night (and weekends) makes a very unpleasant and unhygienic environment. The offices themselves are also meant to be cleaned, however, in three years I've had the cleaner come to my office only a handful of times and unfortunately on a couple of those occasions they just barged into my office while I was still working and on a Teams call with clients and began hoovering quite carelessly. As they arrive while still in business hours (these incidents happened around 4pm) there was no care or consideration that the people in the offices are still working and this was hugely embarrassing for me and to my clients on the call at the time. I have also used the showers and you can see that they are never or hardly ever cleaned. The glass on the shower screen has limescale from the water streaks running down over time as this is never wiped or cleaned. There is black mould visible on the extraction fan. Once again our rent which we pay a lot is meant to cover all aspects of cleaning and during our time we have seen very little and progressively having got worse over time. It is apparent that Regus have no pride or care with the buildings maintenance, cleaning or appearance. Other points adding to the list over time is I am often locked out of my office because the batteries on the lock wear down usually within a month so when I have arrived to start early around 6am due to project deadlines there is no staff at that time to help so I've had to leave and return hours later when they start having nearly missed deadlines. Not really what you expect when it's supposed to be 24 hour access. I would genuinely avoid Regus. My experience here has been very unpleasant and unhappy and there are plenty other options for serviced offices in Bromley.
